Winner International Marimba Competition
Justin Ball is a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The Florida State University, where he is currently pursuing the D.M. degree in Percussion Performance. He has been a finalist in 4 international marimba solo competitions and was the winner of the 2017 Great Plains International Marimba Solo Competition. Justin has an innate passion for teaching music. He has taught for 8 years at over 20 schools and currently teaches the freshman percussion students in the FSU Percussion Studio.

Some of his current projects include developing a curriculum and comprehensive approach to teaching in an online format as related to the global pandemic, creating in-depth study guides for standard solo repertoire, mastering the art of recording engineering and producing a video series entitled “Work Smarter, Not Harder.”
